Austrian mezzo soprano Yvonne Manfreda made her european
debut in the eponymous role of Carmen (Bizet) at the traditional
Open Air Opera Festival Gars in Austria.
The success of her debut brought her back to the festival in the
role of Maddalena in Rigoletto (Verdi).
She won the italian audience with her Santuzza in the Cavalleria
Rusticana (Mascagni) at the Teatro Goldoni Livorno and at the
Maria Callas Festival Sirmione.
2024 Yvonne returns to the Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid
as the Alto for the second Symphony of Mahler (Resurrection).
2024 she was invited to the Georgian National Opera House for
the role of Emilia in Otello ( Verdi).
2023 she sang Maddalena at the Georgian National Opera House
in Tbilisi in a Co-production of Rigoletto with the Opera de Monte Carlo.
2022 Yvonne had a baby pause, 2020 and 2021 the second Symphony
of Mahler at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Nabucco and Aida were
cancelled due to the Corona pandemic.
2019 she sang her first Eboli in her debut at the Georgian State Opera
in Tbilisi, in a Coproduction of Don Carlo (Verdi) with the Teatro
Regio di Parma and was the Solist in the Sinfonie Nr. 9 of Beethoven
at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, where she sang the Alto in
"Lauda Sion" of Mendelssohn 2018 and 2017 the Sinfonia de la Vida
(Bodrov/Criado).
2017 she sang the georgian premiere of the "Songs of a Wayfarer"
(Lieder eines Fahrenden Gesellen - Mahler) with the Georgian
Symphony Orchester in the Jansugh Kakhidze Music Hall.
2016 she was the female soloist in the world premiere of the
"Sinfonia De La Vida" (K.Bodrov/C.Criado) at the Kursaal San
Sebastian with the spanish Orchesta, Coro y Escolania JMJ,
the Orfeon Donostiarra and Orfeoi Txiki del Orfeon Donostiarra.
Concerts took Yvonne as a soloist to the Auditorio
Nacional de Madrid, the Congress Center Budapest, as the
Mezzo Soprano in the Requiem of Verdi with the Norddeutsche
Philharmonie to Rostock on the Remembrance Day, she sang in
concerts at the Wetterbühne Grafenegg, the Teatro Guardassoni
in Bologna, the Teatro Comunale Ferrara, the Festival Amandola, in
the Palazzo Zacco Padova, the Centro Cutural de Aranjuez, at the
University Pamplona, 2018 she sang the Wesendoncklieder of
Wagner in Berlin.
Yvonne is a multiple laureate in international singing competitions,
she won the first prize in Mantova in the int. competition "Pietro
Boni", the first prize (cat.B) in the competition "Citta di Bologna",
the prize "Fedora Barbieri" at the "Trofeo La Fenice" in the Toscana
and was a finalist in the international singing competitions
"Riccardo Zandonai" and O.M.E.G.A in Florence.
The Circolo della Lirica in Padova chose her "Best Young Artist"
of the auditions 2015.
She studied Solo Singing and Drama at the Conservatoire
Vienna and made her Bachelor and Master in Solo Singing
at the V. Sarajishvili State Conservatoire in Tbilisi, Georgia.
She became a member of the Opera Studio Tbilisi, where
she made her debuts in different productions.
Yvonne is a Master of Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna,
where she studied painting, concept and performance art and
was engaged in electronical experimental music as a live
performer and DJ, releasing also a Compact Disc.
She worked as a lighting technician, stage designer, model,
played in films and theatres and worked as an illustrator for
magazines and CD-covers.
